Welcome Friendly Firefly Families!

Our little fireflies are having lots of fun learning about transportation. They have especially enjoyed our virtual reality experiences; train ride, race car driver, boat ride, and today we had a hot air balloon ride! Next week we will be incorporating our Random Acts of Kindness Week into our Content Time. Please remember to return the 2 hearts that were sent home in the Thursday folder if you have not done so already. We want each child to get a chance to share with the class their acts of kindness before we place them on the kindness wall.

I will be continuing our parent/teacher conferences next week. If you have not yet signed up, please do so on the sign up sheet that was sent out this Monday.

Random Acts of Kindness Week

With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, we want to take this opportunity to review our policies and procedures regarding this day. We will not be celebrating this holiday in school. Classroom snack choices, for those teachers who allow them, will continue to follow our acceptable snack guidelines which are found in your child's agenda book and on our website. There will be opportunities, however, for students to extend acts of kindness toward others during Random Acts of Kindness Week February 14-18.
