Welcome Friendly Firefly Families!

Our friends have been sharing acts of kindness all week! On Monday, we wrote cards to someone we love. On Tuesday, we practiced saying please and thank you all day and learned how to say them in sign language. Wednesday, we talked about how we are good friends to others. The students paired up with a friend and shared with them why they thought they were a good friend. On Thursday, we practiced giving compliments to one another. Hopefully, you were the recipient of a nice compliment! Today, we shared our acts of kindness with our class and hung our hearts on our "Kindness Wall". We also participated in the American Heart Association walk with our Pre-k and kindergarten friends. Plus, we had a special mystery reader (Mrs. Smith from next door) who read an Elephant and Piggie book, "Let's Go for a Drive!" Wow, what a busy day!

Next week, we will wrap up our Transportation unit.
