We had a great first week of school!  Next week we will start our Blinky’s Buddy of the week.  I have done my best to align the week that your child is Blinky’s Buddy to coincide with their birthday.  This did not work out each time because some friends birthdays are over the summer or holiday breaks and  we also have some children with the same birthdays.  I have worked it out as closely as possible.  Each day of the week, the Blinky’s Buddy will share something special with the class such as a favorite book to read during our Morning Meeting, a favorite toy for show and tell, and will even star in their own puppet show.  They will also have everyone’s favorite class job, line leader! When it is your child’s week to be Blinky’s Buddy, we will send a note home (the week before) explaining everything that is involved.  Every child will have a turn as Blinky’s Buddy!
