Welcome to the Friendly Flyer!

Wow, I can’t believe it is October already. The weather is getting nicer and we are enjoying our outside time (in the morning) so much! We have already begun talking about some of the changes that occur during fall. During our fall unit, we will include mini studies on apples and pumpkins as well.

We have scheduled our first field trip to the pumpkin patch at Fox Farm on October 27th. We may be going on a hay ride so jeans or long pants would be best for that. Remember, we will have your child’s field trip t-shirt here at school. Those will be put on over their clothes at school.

If you would like to be a chaperone for any of our field trips, you must first watch a video located on the R2CFCD website. After viewing the video, you must click on two spots (one saying you have watched the video and the other saying you would like to be a chaperone). Chaperone’s need to drive separately (you may follow the bus) and pay for their own way. No siblings are allowed on field trips as you are there to help us with not only your child, but other students as well (and they will keep you busy J). We do have two family events at the end of the year!
